While in Brussels by chance I took this shot frm the veranda... it reminds me so much of one my favourite painters, Magritte.. and its was his city too. This is SOC

20 x 112 cm collage

A copy of an idea based on a Rene Magritte style. The figure of the man holding the newspaper was my wife taken against a plain background and superimposed as a layer onto one of my landscapes. Then the centre of the newspaper is cut out to reveal the scene behind.
