The historic 1906 King Street Station was also our departure point for the Amtrak Cascades train that would take us back to Vancouver. The station is near Seattle's Chinatown and Lumen Field. Lumen Field is a multi-purpose stadium. Located in Seattle’s SoDo neighbourhood, it is the home field for the Seattle Seahawks of the NFL, the Seattle Sea Dragons of the XFL, the Seattle Sounders FC of Major League Soccer (MLS), and OL Reign of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).

"Chassis number: 1G1AY0784C5113202. This 1982 Chevrolet Corvette is a Collector Edition, commemorating the last of the C3 models. Special features include the one-off colour scheme, leather trim, opening glass hatch, bronze glass T-tops, special wheels and emblems. During the same ownership for the last 24 years, it has received a replacement interior, four-speed automatic transmission, aluminium radiator and routine maintenance. The paint and decals are believed to be original.
"The car was UK-registered in August 1990, since when it has had three registered keepers overall. The odometer shows 91,260 miles and the last MoT expired in January 2017 after having been tested the previous year at an indicated 90,886 miles. However, as an historic vehicle, the Chevrolet is now MoT-exempt. Unused for a number of years, some recommissioning work will be required as the car is not running smoothly as can be seen in our video. Paperwork includes the V5C and owner's manual."

Departing thr Myalls storage yard in Bassingbourne is this 1997 Marshall bodied Dennis Dart that was new to Papworth Hospital Trust in Cambridge as a non PCV. It was aquired in 2006 by Myalls and has been used on daily school runs since and continues to today. This bus has very low mileage for its age due to it running most of its life around Hospital grounds.

One of the things I found fascinating about Express Motors was the variety of chassis and body types operated. Nearly all the fleet were painted in the fresh and bright livery unlike the many of the independents in the Bangor / Caernarfon area today whose vehicles typically carry an uninspiring allover white livery. To illustrate this point, here Marshall Minibus R405 XFL, never a common type and easily mistaken for a Dart, sets off from Bangor bus station on route 1A to Nebo.

St. Louis is the second-largest city in Missouri, United States. It is located near the confluence of the Mississippi and the Missouri Rivers.
