New to Birmingham Central 12/17

Departing Tiverton with the 10:15 22 service bound for Taunton (via Uffculme & Wellington) is Plaxton President bodied Dennis Trident, 33234 - LT52WWX from the Buses of Somerset subsidiary of First South West.

 

The vehicle started life with First Centrewest in November of 2002 as TN1234. It currently retains base livery for the 'Atlantic Coasters' route branding it carried during its time with First Kernow. During its time with First Kernow the vehicle carried the registration of HIG1531, it reverted to its original registration upon transfer to the Buses of Somerset operation.

 

Friday 4th December 2020

One of the first vehicles to wear the new livery, 1st Bus Stop BV10 WWX is seen here on Green Street Green Road near Darenth whilst working school route D2 from Longfield Academy to Temple Hill. Thursday 6th March 2025.

New to First Centrewest in November 2002 as TN1234. Its base livery is the remnants of the 'Atlantic Coasters' branding which was carried during the vehicles time with First Kernow. Prior to reverting to its original registration, the vehicle also carried the plate of HIG1531.

1977 daycab Scammell Crusader, WWX 861S, was one of a number of 4x2 Crusader tractors built at the Guy factory at Fallings Park, Wolverhampton. Late, September 1983 registered sleeper cabbed Leyland Marathon, A142 LWU, was one of the last built by Scammell at their Tolpits Lane works at Watford. G.W Sissons of Sherburn-in-Elmet was well-known for running Crusaders, but probably less so for running Marathons. A142 LWU, was last taxed in February 1990.
