Wie jedes Jahr nisten Ringeltauben in der Fichte in meinem Garten. Glück für mich, so fällt das eine oder andere Foto ab. Es gibt dort eine Sichtachse bei der die Tauben vor einem Busch meines Nachbarn vorbeifliegen. So habe ich anstelle eines Hauses mit seinen rechtwinkligen Formen und Flächen die grünen Blätter im Hintergrund und erzeuge die Illusion mitten in der Natur zu sein. Weil die Tauben ziemlich groß sind brauche ich die maximale Brennweite meines Objektivs nicht und kann außerdem mit Blende 5.6 fotografieren, was dem AF zugute kommt. Bei der Beleuchtung hat mir heute zusätzlich noch der Saharasand in der Luft geholfen: er hat sich wie eine große Streuscheibe vor die Sonne gelegt und das Licht schön diffus verteilt.
Like every year, wood pigeons nest in the spruce tree in my garden. Lucky for me, one or two photos stand out for me. There is a line of sight where the pigeons fly past my neighbor's tree.So instead of a house with its rectangular shapes and angles, I have the green leaves in the background and can create the illusion of being in the middle of nature. Because the pigeons are quite large, I don't need the maximum focal length of my lens and I can also shoot at aperture 5.6, which benefits the AF. Furthermore the Sahara sand in the air helped me with the lighting today: it placed itself in front of the sun like a large diffuser and distributed the light nicely.
Ger.: Ich war vor etwas mehr als einer Woche in München, mit dem Ziel ein paar Fotos zu machen. Dieses Foto ist tatsächlich das erste, das ich überhaupt in München gemacht habe und zeigt das alte Rathaus vom Marienplatz aus gesehen. Mir gefällt es eigentlich ziemlich gut und in der unteren rechten Ecke kann man auch ein Vogel vorbeifliegen sehen.
Eng.: I went to Munich a little over a week ago to take some photos. This photo is actually the first one I ever took in Munich and it shows the old town hall as seen from Marienplatz. I really like it and you can also see a bird flying by in the bottom right corner.

from the terrace we have a great view and are also high enough to see the birds almost at eye level. It is fun to watch the Swifts and Martins, falcons and some seagulls, and the bats at night flying by.

Von der Terrasse aus haben wir nicht nur eine super Aussicht, wir sind auch hoch genug um die Vögel auf Augenhöhe vorbeifliegen zu sehen. Es hat viele Mauersegler, Schwalben, Falken und ein paar Möwen; und Fledermäuse am Abend.

He Schatz, hast du den Vogel gerade vorbeifliegen sehen. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, aber ich glaube das war ein Eisvogel.
Oh nein, es würde mich so glücklich machen, wenn ich nur jemals einen sehen könnte...
Übrigens, ich habe an diesem Tag tatsächlich einen Eisvogel gesehen...
..coming up there. This is the view through the roof of our conservatory.....layed down and watched the clouds fly by...but according to the forecast it will not stay like this. Heavy winterstorm is on his way.
