More mistiness from the weekend. I quite liked the narrowboat disappearing off into the mist.

More from the Winter surf series. It was a variable day. I took these photos at Trigg Beach main surf break. The waves were a good size and it kept coming over with rain and then sunshine. Hence the rainbow in this shot and the highlights on the white Surf.

Some of the moored up boats at Triggs Lock.

I quite liked the early morning light shining on the bridge at Triggs Lock.

There was a nice sunrise this morning on the river Wey with lots of mist and frost.

Another day at Triggs Beach with good surf. The light was just right to highlight the breaking surf.

I processed my previous image in B&W. I actually prefer it in B &W. The lines lend themselves to this medium.

We had a quick walk along the river Wey yesterday morning before it clouded over and it's starting to look mighty fine with the Spring growth and even some wild flowers about.

I wanted to get as much of the water reflections in as I could so I went for a really low pov of the river.

I took this shot just before the fog really came down on our morning jaunt along the Wey. I wish I had had a filter to reduce the light from the doorway a bit but I had left it at home.

In the fantasy world of Sevonia the trees fight for survival. You may walk through here, the mysterious forest, and hear a crash behind you as one giant crashes to earth felled by one of the venomous Triggly trees. They demand space, and light and when another gentle leafy tree spreads into their space they reach out a branch to touch the invading neighbour. For their branches are deadly toxic and within ten minutes they literally sap the life from other trees. They fall and die with surprising speed. Beware the Triggly tree and the Clash of the Titans in the forest

Another lunchtime and a visit to my 2nd favourite lock on the Wey. It was just like summer by the river as it was about 17c.

Looking west from highway 134, Energy Lake glows in the evening light. The green aquatic vegetation radiates florescent green, and the reddish sky is reflected on the smooth lake surface.

A view of the Wey at Triggs Lock. I thought the photo might make a challenging and quite complicated picture puzzle.

Trigg Beach point break. Look closely you'll see several poor surfers succumb to the wave

This is usually quite a busy lock with with lots of walkers and cyclists but I managed to visit at a quiet time so could get a nice wide shot of the lock keepers cottage and the Wey Navigation

A trail around the resort offers a beautiful view of Lake Barkley. Early morning golden sunlight filters down through an opening in the hill side.

I had an early morning invite to Triggs Lock from a mate this morning to capture a nice misty sunrise on the Wey. Luckily the lock is only about 20 minutes from my office so we had time to wander about.

A view of the colorful facades in downtown Cadiz. Many brick structures all early 20th century architecture. Reminiscent of a time gone by preserving a sense of community that has dissolved in many parts of America.

Another series of Surfers. These were taken at Triggs Beach. There was a good easterly blowing which meant nice waves and the beautiful spray blowing back over the wave. This was a more zoomed in look at a surfer.

The cow parsley is getting big so I thought it would make a nice bit of foreground interest in this shot of the narrow boats

I have been trying to get a decent sunrise at Triggs Lock for well over a month now and I finally saw a half decent one yesterday on my way to work on a very cold and frosty morning.
