On the road from Nairobi to Amboseli, Kenya, February 2018.
Explored, thanks everyone for the interest!
Few more shots of my trip to Amboseli:
Fremantle Prison was built by convicts and opened in 1855.
It was a brutal place in which to be incarcerated and finally closed in 1991.
It is now World Heritage listed and is a tourist attraction.
This gate is north of the imposing main gatehouse and was perhaps used for deliveries.
While the crops have been harvested and the fields are bare, the trades people are still active through the winter months at the Experimental Farm.
The Farm keeps the roads nicely plowed, but not bare, which makes for a lively winter scene.

I used to have hundreds of cards weighing my pockets down during my school years. Standing in groups reviewing each others decks and trying to organize trades. While I do enjoy a lot of the digital revolution, I'm still old skool and prefer to have something tangible in my hands.....something about finally getting that card you wanted and being able to hold onto it. HMM!
