Does the winged life destroy;

But he who kisses the joy as it flies

Lives in eternity's sunrise”

This is actually Yellowstone River, but we decided to name it Wolf Creek...

Not really inclined to up the exposure settings, cos it was still pretty dark when I shot this frame... Kinda like the dark tones..

Imagine standing at the banks of this river trying to capture a beautiful sunrise, and all of a sudden, a haunting series of wolf howls filled the air. For an instant, we were transfixed and mesmerized. Though we did not see any, it was enough to cause goosebumps... It was simply surreal.

A weather system coming into our area at dawn produced the most textured sunrise sky I have seen in a while.

While in pursuit of a ship departing Dock 6 in Duluth, I noticed the night job spotting ore cars with nice hues in the sky providing a colorful silhouette. 4/27/19

Petitcodiac river at Moncton, NB

Due to all the rain we had for our week in Wales we only got to see one sunrise but it was certainly a spectacular one. We took the short drive from our cottage down to Llyn Padarn for the classic shot of the lone tree which due to all the rain was well and truly isolated in the lake. We all managed to squeeze into a small area between some trees balancing on stones to try and keep out feet dry but with a strong wind over the lake it was like the tide was coming in 😆. We took a few shots as the sunrise drew near not expecting to see much colour but when the sun came up behind the mountains the sky lit up like it was on fire and reflected beautifully over the lake.(Olympus EM-1 Mkii 7-14mm f/2.8 pro 2 secs f/6.3 @ 9mm Kase Wolverine GND-R 0.9 (3stop) Reverse grad + ND64 (6stop) ND)
