Sunday mornings blanket grey cloud and drizzle left me totally uninspired so went B&W. Beadnell has some lovely rock outcrops and this one really caught my eye. If only there had been some decent light!
Ooh my lovelies, it's been a mental busy last few months! Moving southwards to the fab little town of Henley with an awesome man has been fantastic. At the same time though, mentally hectic! My Wedding Photography business is keeping me up at 5am editing the most beautiful brides and perfect weddings!
Andy helped me with this image by covering our spare room in gazillions of feathers! Love it!

Over what must only be a few weeks it's turned so cold. This morning waking up at five am I went through to the lounge and curled up with some hot chocolate. Thinking about my images and listening to a selection of quiet haunting tunes.
Youth Lagoon and Hooray for Earth were my soundtracks this morning.
Here's the before and after and details of how I created the image on my blog :D www.awonderingstar.com/2012/10/photographic-how-to-limitl...

For my sister-in-law Susi, and nieces and nephew --shh, don't tell! Their dog (and Floyd's wife), Snooky.
The Snook. A little off the main drag linking Holy Island to the mainland are a pair of curious erections known as Snook House and Snook Tower. Located on the sticky-out bit on the landward side of the island known as, in fact, ‘The Snook’, these isolated buildings are universally ignored by those intent on making the most of their window of sea-less opportunity who strike on regardless along the Causeway to Holy Island village, some 2 miles eastward. Ignoring them is a bad idea as it’s an amazing place and well worth a visit.
Sunny Day after Tropical Storm. Major pull process of film to deal with super high contrast. 8x10" film camera with Fujinon-W 210mm f/5.6, Ilford Ortho Plus Film.
(: Good morning!!
Last night I got back from a busy busy day, missed my Pilates class, felt gutted. When I've had a particularly bad series of days, or my head's cluttered with photographic ideas and it's just too much, I run a bath, pour myself vodka on ice and just breathe.
So, last night, I jumped in the shower...
Have a great day folks

Took this same shot a while ago but it was a pretty grey day so i did it in mono, this time I waited for the sunrise to cast a beautiful golden light on the Snook and the old boat in the foreground. Im really pleased how this shot turned out.
You would never even know this waterfall was here unless you were given the coordinates! I geotagged it right on the money, if you need to find your way.
Be careful though, it's not a well-maintained path and you'll probably slip and fall!
SSC - Halloween
Snooks is all dressed up and ready to go Trick or Treating, keeping a close eye on his friend Pumpkin.
On a visit to Aldeburgh on the Suffolk coast, there were several displays and houses decorated ready for Halloween but Snooks here just caught my eye. Pumpkins are synonymous with Halloween and although a little small I hope this one fits the brief.
