After I had taken numerous pictures of this skyscraper (USBank skycraper, the tallest one in LA), there were a couple of security guys that told me and my husband that we were not allowed to take any pictures of it, due to the fact that it is a target for terrorist attacks...

Thurs. the 21st and walkabout thru downtown.

Twin towers linked by a bridge at the 41st floor. That's what all the oil money can buy you. The towers are now surrounded by 5-star hotels and the huge and fancy Suria shopping mall.

The glass building on the right is the new tower under construction whose crane bent during Hurricane Sandy.

The oft-forgotten (by me anyway) 'yellow one up the back.'

Park Place stands 140 m (459 ft) tall. It was built in 1984 and designed by Musson Cattell Mackey Partnership architects.
