Dunajec Castle (Zamek Niedzica) - medieval fortress located on the right bank of the river Dunajec in the village Niedzica. This castle was built probably in the early 14th century. In 1996, as a result of damming the valley of the Dunajec dam with a height of 56 meters below the castle, was built tank Czorsztyn Lake. On the opposite side of the Dunajec on the slope of the lake rise the ruins of the castle in Czorsztyn.

Crkva Svetog Nikole smještena je na trgu, u centralnom dijelu Perasta. Završena je 1616. godine, mada se pretpostavlja da je postojala starija građevina na istom mjestu. Crkva je jednobrodna sa kvadratnom apsidom, koja ima bačvasti svod. Naos ima drvenu tavanicu, nekada dekorisanu slikama. Zdanje je građeno fino tesanim korčulanskim kamenom, sa dva bogato profilisana portala ukrašena detaljima kasne renesanse.
Pored crkve se uzdiže visoki zvonik (55 metara) koji je 1691. godine sazidao Hvaranin Ivan Krstitelj Škarpa i ubraja se među najljepše barokne zvonike na istočnoj obali Jadranskog mora. Iz crkve se ulazi u riznicu gdje su izložene brojne slike, ikone, predmeti umjetničkih i filigranskih zanata i bogoslužbene odežde.
Glavni oltar je barokni rad iz 17. vijeka, venecijanskog porijekla. Dvije kamene krstionice, poklon su Andrije Zmajevića, a izradili su ih korčulanski majstori 1660. godine. U crkvi se nalazi slika čuvenog peraštanskog baroknog majstora Tripa Kokolje Čuda Antuna Padovanskog i 16 medaljona sa scenama molitvi Gospodine krunice.

Let's take a walk among "bedrooms" - neightbourhoods built in 1970s and 1980s, consisting of prefabricated flat blocks, so much hated by most people, regardless if they live in one or not.
They aren't beautiful, I don't claim they are. The only reason why I gave them my attention is that they constantly disappear. They aren't destroyed, that wouldn't be so bad. They receive warmth retaining cladding and new colours, often worse than plain grey.
I hope those photos will make comparisons possible in future.
Skarpa Wiślana (zwana też Skarpą Warszawską) to rozciągająca się na 31 km skarpa na terenie lewobrzeżnej Warszawy. Wysoki, stromy próg skarpy jest najbardziej charakterystycznym naturalnym elementem ukształtowania terenu Warszawy — jednym z tych, które kształtują krajobraz i strukturę przestrzenną miasta.
Ukształtowanie terenu było jednym z czynników przesądzających o lokalizacji Warszawy. Usytuowanie grodów i późniejszych rezydencji na skarpie ułatwiało obronę, zapewniało atrakcyjne widoki, korzystny klimat, suche podłoże i brak niebezpieczeństwa powodzi.
Najstarszy odkryty gród na Skarpie Wiślanej pochodzi z XII wieku i znajdował się w rejonie Zamku Królewskiego i Wieży Grodzkiej. Stroma skarpa broniła miasta na tyle dobrze, że od strony Wisły nie otoczono go murami. Kolejnym zabudowaniem na skarpie była osada Nowe Miasto. W XIII wieku książęta mazowieccy ulokowali gród przy przeprawie przez Wisłę, w rejonie dzisiejszego Jazdowa. W XVII i XVIII wieku na skarpie budowano podmiejskie wille, pałace z ogrodami, kościoły i klasztory, młyny, tartaki i manufaktury. Dużym walorem tej lokalizacji były rozległe widoki na otwarty krajobraz.

In it’s first year the No Limit street art event in Borås, Sweden is fully underway with one of the most iconic murals of the event completed by Eduardo Kobra, who memorialized Alfred Nobel in his piece. The Swedish chemistand innovator is perhaps the most influential person to come from Sweden so it was only fitting to honor him in this mural giant continuing on Kobra’s “Spray for Rights” theme since Alfred Nobel’s fortune was posthumously used to start the Nobel Prize, Which includes the Nobel Peace Prize.
