Schiefersee (2.495m)
The Schiefersee belongs to the upper Spronser lakes. So it is to be feared that I'll torture you some more with pictures from this tour 😉 Enjoy a hopefully relaxed and sunny weekend ☀️

The Spronser Lakes (German: Spronser Seenplatte; Italian: Laghi di Sopranes) is the largest group of high elevation lakes in the Alps, located in South Tyrol, Italy. Here you can find some information:

In the Valley of Villnöß in South Tyrol in northern Italy.
I looked toward the South Yatsugatake from the mountaintop of Mt. Nyukasa, approximately 2,000m above sea level in Japan.

Das Berghaus Hochschneeberg liegt neben der Bergstation der Zahnradbahn, die von Puchberg auf den Schneeberg führt. Die höchste Stelle am Schneeberg ist das Klosterwappen mit 2.076 m und am Foto nicht zu sehen.
The mountain lodge Hochschneeberg is beside the top station of the rack railway, which goes from Puchberg up the mountain Schneeberg. The highest point on the mountain Schneeberg is called Klosterwappen with 2.076 m and not to see in this photo.
It ist he highest hill in the north of germany. In winter it is a great place with a lot of snow. Often it's windy and foggy. A lot of peare have been often here but never without fog.
But when it's clear and the sun is shining you have an fantastic view.
I know it's not the most attractive picture, but it's necessary to complete my series about Harz until end of Februay.
This marmot was either sunbathing, posing, or both at Mount Rainier National Park. They are part of the squirrel family.
