Chromodoris kalawakan is a nudibranch that has only been described in 2020. It is completely white with a fine red border on its mantle and red tips on the rhinophores. This one was about 10mm long.

We took our first roadtrip of the spring season yesterday and had a great time in the southeast part of Iowa. It included a trip to the Dutchman's Store in Cantrell, lunch at the Great Day Cafe in Keosaqua, and a walk through Lacy-Keosaqua State Park, one of our state's oldest parks. This is one of several CCC stone bridges in the park.
Found this Queen Anne's Lace flower while on a walk this morning at a nearby park.

The windmill at Lacey Green is Englands oldest remaining smock mill dating from c1650. It was rebuilt and modernised with fantail, patent sails, governor and machinery for grain cleaning and flour shifting in the 19th century. It continued working until 1915. By the late 1960s the mill was in a desperate state, the whole body being twisted and titled. In 1971 the Chiltern Society stepped in and restored it, restoration being completed in 1986.

Mathilda and I were playing around with the first batch of cotton laces for the Dollette shop. I am excited to be attending a fabric and trim expo next Friday! Which dolly should I take with me?
Lacey showing off all her curls, looks like it is time for a clipping so I can see her eyes again and with the Australian summer in full swing it is too hot to have too much fur!
Poodles might not shed but it is a regular part of caring for them to have them clipped and after a clip they look like a totally different dog!
