Foto: Xérica, en español Jérica, en el Alto Palanca. Vista del pueblo desde la salida de la autovía, culminado por la torre mudéjar, llamada de la Alcudia, o de las campanas. Su construcción por los árabes, en los siglos XII y XIII, no carece de misterio. Ciertos estudiosos piensan que el primero de los tres cuerpos que la componen, de forma octogonal pura, bien pudiera ser románica. La torre fue declarad Monumento Histórico - Artístico Nacional en 1979.

La tour est Monument historique depuis 1979.

It is believed that its construction began around 1616 , using as a base another previous tower (the basement is supposed to be of Roman origin) and was built on an earlier one called "Torre de la Alcudia". With this new work was intended to get a suitable place for the final placement of the bells and so, while security and fixation, it will achieve a better hearing of them throughout the population. The tower of the bells consists of three octagonal bodies, which have a different perimeter. The first body is pure octagonal (with a measure of 5.1 meters per side), since no or stirrups or ornamentations (manufactured with thick walls of masonry and plaster mortar with three meters 10 centimeters thick).

Va ser construït en 1959 per la Confederació Hidrogràfica del Xúquer, amb un import de 32.228.256,42 ptes, per a resoldre el problema plantejat per la falta d'aigües per a regs en les hortes de Sagunt.
S'ubica aigües amunt de la Font dels Banys, en terme de Xèrica, junt amb la carretera de Gaibiel; l'alçària de la presa ve limitada per la rasant de la via del ferrocarril, a fi que les màximes avingudes no inunden l'explanació de les vies.
Fue construido en 1959 por la Confederación Hidrográfica del Júcar, con un importe de 32.228.256,42 ptas, para resolver el problema planteado por la falta de aguas para riegos en las huertas de Sagunto.
Se ubica aguas arriba de la Fuente de los Baños, en término de Jérica, junto a la carretera de Gaibiel; la altura de la presa viene limitada por la rasante de la vía del ferrocarril, con el fin de que las máximas avenidas no inunden la explanación de las vías.
