Shot with an iPhone6 and edited on the same phone. I shot these images and put them into ImageBlender to layer them. I fine tuned the image in Snapseed and added a border and light leaks in Jazz. These leaves are collected from my back yard. We live in New England and I adore the fall colors. We purchased our home in part because of the large old Sugar Maples on the property. Every year I am struck by the beauty of the trees and leaves as they "die" for another winter rest. The yard is littered with crispy leaves and maple seeds.

I noticed this lovely vine on my daily walk. It had a gorgeous pink hue. I photographed several images with the native camera in portrait mode, and also with the shooting app camera+2. Hand held close up images are tricky. I held my breath, exhaled and liked the image with camera+2. Later, on my iPad Pro, I edited in Snapseed, tuning, to diffuse the brown fence, and glamour glow, to highlight the colors. Next, I used both the painterly and watercolor filters on Icolorama. I used imageblender with the various intermediate images. The final result is a lovely, soft, iridescent pink confection.
“I became aware that there was no barrier between what was inside and what was outside. My body was illuminated by a bright light. I heard with my eyes and saw with my ears. I used my nose as mouth and my mouth as nose. I experienced the world with the totality of my senses as my spirit gathered and my form dissolved. There was no distinction between muscles and bones. My body stopped being heavy and I felt like a floating leaf. Without knowing it, I was being carried by the wind. Drifting here and there, I did not know whether I rode on the wind or the wind rode on me.”

Backstory:
We went for a little drive in the country today. I've had my eye on this beautiful, abandoned farm for a few weeks. Today I captured her moment, her memory, her broken down beauty. The light through the now empty windows, the lean of her structure, the fading of her presence ... all will be missed.
