She moves.
... In waves.
She flows.
... Incessantly.
She breathes.
... Breathe alongside her.
She is alive.
... Pulsing.
... Heartbeat in the sky. ♡

A great view of the 2 iconic landmarks of Sydney.
Taken from our drone high above Sydney with a unique view of the Opera House & Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Sydney is the state capital of New South Wales and the most populous city in Australia and Oceania.
Located on Australia's east coast, the city surrounds one of the world's largest natural harbours, and sprawls towards the Blue Mountains to the west.
A place for finding lost pieces of your being.

This would have been the first hot day we have since January 2013. It was a perfect day to go out and enjoy what Australia had to offer. It was a warm (with little wind) day. We were out from about 11AM visiting almost all of the attractions along The Great Ocean Road. 12 Apostles Coastal Reserve being out last stop and the sun was setting fast. It was also a fantastic golden/red sunset.
Back story, I almost didn't get to show any of these photos as I did lost my gopro hero 3 momentarily as we were exploring the surrounding sites and when I was back at the car, I did not see my Gopro on the quad! We had to backtrack for about 15min to find just sitting there in the bush...phew'
This was taken with Dji Phantom Quadcopter and GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition. 4 image stitched with Photoshop.

So there is a kit from a company called High Altitude Science that my school purchased that allows for STEM teaching of what it takes to get, track, experiment, and retrieve a payload from around 100,000 feet. The students had to assemble the balloon and payload, calculate the amount of helium gas needed to create a positive lift that allows the balloon to ascend at a gentle rate, and use computer modeling to predict where the payload will land. It is also required to file a flight report with the FAA so they can alert high altitude passing planes if they notice something.
As this was both the teacher and students first try, it was a great learning experience for all of us. Turns out the hardest part if what to do if the balloon lands 70' up in a tree in the middle of the woods. That my father solved with a bow and arrow tied to nylon rope.
Unfortunately it looks like the GoPro cut out about 2:30 hours into the 3:30 hour ascent so unless I can find more pictures somehow on the card we don't have any pictures of the full globe of the Earth and the blackness of space.
I'm not too upset with these results however from our first attempt!
