pink and green yin yangs and yellow Star Trek insignia are cotton
Purple/lavender/pink yin yang, purple/lavender spokes and red and white spiral are yummy 100% bamboo (from www.yarncloud.com )
I didn't use a pattern, but a pattern that will yield the same results as the spiral and the yin yang scrubbies is here:

Handmade christmas gift for a friend who was hunting for a Batman or Doctor Who diary - so why not have both?!
I designed and printed the tardis fabric onto printable cotton before stitching a felt batman logo applique to the front. Dotty lining matches her character!

FLAME ON!
- my impressionistic interpretation - for Matt. :o)
He's quite small (prox 3 1/2" not counting flames, 4" with flames). I think he kind of looks like a fire elemental. :o)
Knitted on size 2 needles with Senso size 3 crochet thread. Flames crocheted in strips and sewn to body.
Free pattern available now (finally!)

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! :o)
Marvel Comics character, the ever-lovin', blue-eyed Thing (member of the Fantastic Four), for Matt's birthday.
Hand knit, my tallest peep so far, and took me ages! :o) He's double-knitted (correction: knitted in the round on two circular needles), in one piece from the feet to the neck with the toes, arms, and head added after.
He was a success with Matt who says he's "cool"! Hurray! :o)

A test sculpture I wanted to make with Fimo instead of Super Sculpey. I gotta say I'm impressed by the sheer fact that it did NOT burn in my oven, unlike sculpey (and my oven is a beast even in very low temperatures). So, I thought Ditto might be a good choice.

I made a nerdy Chewbacca shirt for my boyfriend and a shirt that says "I'm blogging this!" for me.
A Cyndaquil Doll I made using Wolfdreamer's pattern. Kudos to her for being such an awesome pattern maker.
Materials: Mixed Media - Acrylics, Ink, Mosaic on Canvas.
Dimensions: 50 x 20 cms
The background is kinda urban, Pac Man, Blinky and the pellets are made with my own handmade ceramic tiles to create a mosaic.
The contrast between the mosaic and the urban background represent
Pac Man's longevity in gaming.
I really enjoyed making the mosaic and the worn paint effect on both the tiles and background.

so last weekend we rearranged the living room and in the process bubby the fish needed to be moved to a different spot, which required a new cabinet for him. i went to michael's and found a plain, unfinished wooden cabinet that his aquarium would fit on. it couldn't stay plain and unfinished, though. not in my house!
