Observing rush hour at railway stations, I find many analogies for life. People shuffling, people waiting, people gazing into nowhere, people searching. There is a blues tune that Jimi Hendrix played called 'Hear my train ' a coming' . . which I wish I could overlay on top of this photograph.
Artwork for sale. Oil on canvas. Painted by myself in 1999. Approx 60x60cm.
Framed as shown. I undertake commissions using oil, acrylic and pastels. Contact me at georgescanvas@pm.me for pricing and other info.

In the Eastern Mediterranean, the olive tree frames the Greek way of being. The locals refer to it as a blessed tree. It's symbolism permeates through the entire culture & history of Hellenic civilization.

Well, I've officially either run out of ideas or have just progressed to Artist Level 4. I'm genuinely not sure which at this stage. Perhaps we've got a Boss fight incoming...
Anyway today's piece is a surprising turn of event for id-iom in that it is somehow both minimalist and calming - which is something not ordinarily associated with us. I put it down to the pandemic. Somehow I've even got the palette looking pretty agreeable too. I don't know what's up with me. I'm sure normal service will resume at some point. It could even be my favourite thing I've produced so far this year...
She's available for sale if anyone cares to give her a home for £120 (plus P&P) and is on a 60 x 60cm square canvas.
Cheers
id-iom
