Chinese lantern festival at Jungle Island features 13 acres of hand made Chinese lanterns illuminated by over 1 million LED lights.
Each lantern is constructed of a hand formed metal wire frame, then lights are added and silk is stretched and attached to the frame. Finally an artist paints details to bring the lantern to life.
