I love to take big things, like trains, and make them look small. Usually it's sweeping Pennsylvania valley scenes I use but the grain elevators in the Midwest made the job easy. Here an empty hopper train passes the grain complex in Bradshaw, NE.

CasaSugar had the chance to ask designer Jeremy Conway a few questions about the place. The most interesting was learning that her plum and cream print rug was a Marni design from The Rug Company - isn't it gorgeous? The designer said the paint was a custom shade, but that it was very similar to Benjamin Moore's Electric Blue.
A similar piece at the Chicago Tribune gives away a few more secrets - according to set decorator Lydia Marks, "The settees were custom-made and upholstered in Silk Trading Co.'s Amanda Lee linen. The one-of-a-kind mirrored coffee table came from New York's ABC Carpet & Home, and was topped with smoked glass."
For more pictures, check into CasaSugar soon, as she is promising more pictures. You can also see a full write-up on Carrie's fab apartment makeover (plus notes about the other ladies' places) in the new issue of Traditional Home, on news stands now

"In 1283 Wm.de Bradshaw was reported as occupying land in Combs. The Hall was rebuilt by Francis Bradshaw, High Sheriff of Derbyshire in 1630-1, whose initials with those of his wife, Barbara, a Cheshire Davenport, and the date 1619 may be seen on a stone built into one of the farm buildings, and his arms and initials and the date 1620 are carved on the gateway, still in good preservation, on the north side of the house." source Internet

A large storm building over the Bradshaw mountains in central Arizona. This storm looked pretty ominous, but it held off long enough for me to go check out a now dry waterfall in the area before letting loose.

This Tudor house was built by Francis Bradshaw in the village of Eyam in Derbyshire. The village was to become famous for an outbreak of plague, delivered to the tailor in a roll of cloth. The plague lasted from 1665-1666.
An empty hopper train blasts through Bradshaw, NE on the BNSF Ravenna Subdivision. Dominating the landscape in the small town is Progressive Ag Partners, a large elevator and transfer facility. With two locomotives on the property, including the MCM GP7u (DHMX 4197) seen on the left, Progressive Ag has enough rail capacity to ship 110-car trains.
