Bova Futura FLD B8 AND is seen outside Rover's garage in Horsley, near Stroud, on 20th May, 2003. It was new to Armstrongs of Bletchley as E121 KRP.

The latest acquisition for McNairn's Coaches in Coatbridge is Bova Futura YJ60LBP.

B210PDC was a Bova Futura FHD12-280 C45Ft new as United 1210 in April 1985. It passed to Northumbria and is shown in Newcastle

Seen on the M74 is one of Swift Travel, Barrhead's latest acquisitions, Bova Futura YJ60LBX.

SUI7710 parked up in Photoflash's yard in Carluke. This Bova Futura was acquired from Simpson, Rosehearty and is now in Photoflash livery with the Glasgow's Clyde Skyline on the front.

Certainly interesting to see this company which operates zebra coloured coaches between Ukraine and Poland.

Seen in Dundee is Bova Futura T33MTL. New to Weavaway of Newbury as Y219NYA it is now a mobile human body dissection vehicle.

Biss Brothers specified Mercedes engines for a pair of Bova Futuras supplied new in 1992. This is J8 BBC in Hastings on 29th June 1996.

Seen leaving Holy Cross HS is McDade of Uddington Bova Futura GX07NVE. New as AJ07BUS to Andy James, Tetbury.

Tamar Coaches Bova Futura TA09 MAR at West Bay on 9th July, 2021, en route to Osmington Bay. it was new to Parnhams as WA09 KZF.

Seen in the depot of John Hunter in Tullibody is Bova Futura WA08AOT.

Hunter Coaches, Leeds, Bova Futura M908 XWA returning through Dover on a Leger tour on 30th August, 1997.

Leons Bova Futura GO51 LCT in Blackpool on 30th June, 2005.

Bova Futura G73 JSG was one of Plan-It Travel's longest serving fleet members, coming from Austin, Earlston, in 2001 and remaining in use until 2008. It was new to Jim Kipling Travel, a shortlived Leicestershire operation, as G820 YJF and was seen at Thorpe park on 24th July, 2007..

Another Bova Futura recently snapped up by A-Line Coaches of Coventry is MKZ 1876 - immediately identifiable as an ex Robin Hood coach. It was new as YD02 PXR and was visiting Brighton on 14th July, 2018.

Somehow this is the first time I've actually taken a picture of a Betuwe Express coach!

To steal the strapline from a lawnmower advert, it would seem that Bova's really are cheaper by the dozen. The mushroom growth by Inverness based D&E Coaches is apparent in this view. Many thanks to the company for their hospitality on my recent visit.

I shall always have fond memories of my days on Travelsphere. Garretts of Devon was one of the small band of operators to paint a coach in colours, in this case brand new Bova Futura P141 DDV seen at Dover Docks on 20th July, 1997.

West Coast Motors Bova FND120.365 at Fionnphort - Hebridean Princess in the background

YJ09FHX is a Bova Futura FHD127 C53Ft purchased new by Reays of Wigton in April 2009. It joined the Barrhead based Swift Coaches fleet in January 2016.

SF16KUS is a VDL Bova FHD2-129. C57F delivered new to Peace of Echt in March 2016, captured in Perth.

A relatively rare VDL Futura FHD2-106.

Parked at Glasgow Cathedral is Henry Crawford of Neilston short Bova Futura NSK921.

SF06PHK was a Bova Futura FHD13-340 C57Fpurchased new by Pride of the Clyde Coaches of Port Glasgow in May 2006. It was later re-registered as IIG9817, and is shown wearing the now defunct colours of Caledonian Travel.

Some encouraging news however is that Chris Bond and many of the team from Caledonian Travel announced the formation of Tartan Travel which will provide coach holidays with pick-ups from many Scottish towns, and Carlisle.

 

SP05CXX was a Bova Futura FHD12-340 C49Ft purchased new by Smith's of Coupar Angus in March 2005. It passed to Bowman's of Craignure in April 2010, before passing to West Coast with the business in June 2013, and is seen working for their Borders Buses subsidiary. It carried the registration number M700WCM before becoming F18LNE, and is shown in Peebles.

McNairn of Coatbridge have been on a Bova Futura buying spree in 2021 with three examples purchased.

 

Seen at the depot is Bova Futura YJ08NTF which was most recently operated by Aspect Travel in Newmains and passed to Wiseway (Dealer) of East Kilbride in 2020.

Not the best picture in the world and unlikely to win any awards (and that's just the Driver!) is McNairn Bova Futura YD02PXM heading out on school duty.

Wigan Coachways Bova Futura K25 BOM works a rail replacement service in Preston on 15th May, 2005. It had been new to Bruce, Shotts, as K812 EET and last operated for Zak's of Birmingham.

Let's Travel, Bootle, Bova Futura L4 BSL leaves Haydock Races on 31st May, 2014. It was new to Bennetts, Chieveley, and retained Glen Valley Travel colours.

Dunn-Line Bova Futura T758 JYB in London on 17th May, 2005. It was new to Priory of Gosport.

Cambridge Bus & Coach had a second Bova Futura up in London today, 17th July, 2022. K19 TSC was new to AAA Coaches, Edinburgh, as SN57 EEP.

A Bova Futura that has been a regular visitor to Macclesfield for the monthly Treacle Market over recent years.
