Cali Girl Christie has been waiting for years and now she has a new body. She had the perfect face and the perfect hair and now she has the posable body she deserved. Bye the way the skin tone is perfect match, I love how she looks

... inherited the original body of The Muse Adele 😊

She is a repainted and resculpted Elizabeth Swan head in an Antoinette body. I had originally planned to repaint her to resemble Keira Knightley, but the more I stared at her the more I saw young Winona Ryder instead.

She's wearing an alternative design I made, but didn't finish, for the CDDC Avant Garde challenge 4.

She is happy to have a Fashion Royalty Faces Adele body 😊

Here I am again! - Well, maybe a bit more grown-up... 😉

So I went home and got some dolls to bodyswap.

I put Peeta’s head on an EAH Hunter body because he just looks so weird to me on a tall body. Josh Hutcherson is actually 1.7m tall which is my height so I guess he looks better to me when he’s on this body.

My repro Julia head went onto the MTM Asha body cuz for some reason she really suits the sculpt better than when I tried putting her on a Heels to Flats Grace body. It’s just nicer sculpted and suits Julia more.

My Cheerleader Faux Tango Ken got Peeta’s body which is good cuz I’ve been wanted a Pivotal Tango Ken doll for awhile lol.

And Asha got the Liv body Julia had before but I might try shrinking her head…

Nikki Barbie upgraded on a Vanity and Glamour Nadja Rhymes body

My new AA Ken arrived yesterday! He is very handsome, don't you think? He is not in love with his stiff body though! I bought an AA Texas A&M Cheerleader Ken who has been waiting for this guy to arrive for a body swap. I can say that he is none to happy with this, but he will get over it!

Just when the sun sets there is a brief moment of blue light and today my Valeria and Dorothy, and Siama's Tanya were there to catch it. These were taken on a neighbouring street from our homes at Pyynikinharju in Tampere, Finland.

My new muse.

Maybe I like her so much because she wears Frankie's hairstyle ;)

To mark the end of crew operations (driver and conductor) at Catford garage, the powers that be very generously let this RM and preserved RT1702 out on a variety of routes for the final few days. RM2046 and RT1702 were both used in service on Route 75 (9th), 47 (10th), 185 (11th), 54 (12th) and the 36B on the 13th March - the final day of crew operations.

RM2046 (ALM 46B) is seen here, parked up in Calvert Avenue, Shoreditch on Titan Route 47. Fifty years' worth of London bus design is parked up behind :) The photographer having travelled up from Catford took the return ride back to Lewisham. RM2046, looking very smart on the day, became SELKENT's last operational Routemaster.

Further down the line, sandwiched between a couple of Titans is preserved RT1702 (KYY 529) which was also operating on the route that day.

As an aside, Catford garage (TL) was one of the original garages operated by Thomas Tilling:

TL - Tilling Lewisham, TC - Tilling Croydon, TB - Tilling Bromley survived into London Transport days.

Catford garage was opened on 11th May 1914 and was not very old when requisitioned for the war effort. It did not re-open until 1920 when Thomas Tilling's Lewisham operation moved there due to space constraints at his other garage.

Thomas Tilling gained an agreement in 1923 to double the size of Catford and in addition the roof has been raised twice, first in 1930 to enable double deck buses to use the garage and again in 1948 to accommodate AEC Regent III RTs. The garage was modernised again in 1970.

As I took time out at Shoreditch for photographs of star player RM2046 working for one day only on Route 47, the driver of RT1702 obliged by offering me a side-by-side comparison view of the 1930s/40s RT design and the 'futuristic' 1950s Routemaster :)

I had travelled up from Catford on RM2046 on the outward journey, and was looking forward to the return ride back to Lewisham. The Routemaster was looking very smart on the day, and became SELKENT's last operational Routemaster.

RT1702 was looking quite immaculate considering its 40+ years on the road! Interestingly, the bus was allocated to Catford (TL) garage from 1966 to its withdrawal in 1972. It was also one of the buses that took part in a pre-Festival of Britain tour of Europe.

I told you I was going to use it girl.

IRL the head body match is perfect! Unfortunately in the pics there's a slight difference to see......

... now she can do hula hoop 😊

original Ten has been bodyswapped and modded to be taller... perhaps exaggeratedly so, but that's the way i tend to visualise DT. new Ten is not modded at all... yet.

S!M is very confused...

ETA: this comic was definitely in the back of my mind:

End of the road for Route 29 - RM2076 (ALM76B) seen on Route 29 Enfield turnaround, with crew taking a break

One of a series of pictures I took in the dying days of Routemasters on Route 29. A nice long-distance Routemaster route. In the 1980s, the route ran as follows: VICTORIA STATION - Westminster - Trafalgar Square - Charing Cross Road - Tottenham Court Road - Camden Town - Holloway - Finsbury Park - Manor House - Green Lanes - Turnpike Lane Stn - Wood Green - Palmers Green - Winchmore Hill - ENFIELD TOWN Palace Gardens.

More on Route 29 here: www.londonbuses.co.uk/_routes/current/029.html

One of only a few RMs to have and retain the off-side illuminated advert. Note also the cream band - the Routemaster was painted up in 1987 as a garage showbus. RM2076 didn't have long to run in London when this shot was taken, as it had a non-standard Leyland engine - so went for scrap in late 1989.
