There’s something about this time of year and for me cherry blossom is 100% the one. Luckily I know a spot near me that I go to that’s full of it and every year I take these shots 😍 this year I used the 35-80mm f2.8 in Macro @35mm.

Spring cherry blossoms along Inconstant Street, Blackheath, in the Blue Mountains - about 100 minutes drive from Sydney.

I ventured up to the Blue Mountains on Sunday, 4th October, 2020, to visit one of the 'Open Gardens' along Evans Lookout Road. But I also visited the amazing Campbell Rhododendron Gardens in Blackheath. Nearby to these gardens, and in fact in so many of the streets in Blackheath, there were wall-to-wall blossoms of all different types - cherry, pear, apple, etc. It must be the blossom capital of the world.

These blossoms were along the strangely named 'Inconstant' street.

I have visited Leeds Castle a few times lately so be prepared for some more castle shots coming up in my stream over the next couple of weeks. I got the title for this one from a guy who was standing behind me somewhere and kept saying "wow, that looks like a scene from a puzzle box" :)
