A dying/wilting flower strongly concentrate it's color. This flower had only hints of purple when fresh.
Rose losing its color at the end of life. I just moved and am very happy to be posting again. Peace to everyone.
Blue water drops placed on a purple leaf. No Photoshop used for this one...which I am kind of proud of.
Red is typically a difficult color to shoot for me. But the incredibly rich color of this complex and beautiful rose speaks loudly for itself.
The color of this flower was more white than pictured. A little green light from the front gives it more of a "minty," color.
Frozen bouquet flower. This was not the most attractive bloom so I froze it to give it some interest.
Attempting to prioritize detail with the center of the flower. At the same time I was looking to bring out soft but detailed background grass. Nikon Macro Lens.
Droplets get smaller as they move into the rose's center void. Don't blink...those drops don't stay in place very long.
See the nose and eyes? The purple hue looks like it is glowing but that is unmodified. The inside of the pods have a purple hue and if you catch them just right with the right temperature light, they seem to glow.
This was a light purple and white flower. I used a couple different purple light sources to get the different intensities.

This was a 3 day process. I used several different coloring and overlapped them to get this shot. At first, I felt like I polluted something beautiful. But the "ugly" result has a beauty all its own.
