Coal miners in West Virginia and other states are not pleased that millions of taxpayer dollars were given (loaned) to a company to make solar panels. Coal miners are also not pleased that EPA is trying to shut down the coal mining industry when coal mining is the one industry that has given America the energy to become a great nation throughout the last two centuries.

"And now we are supposed to think that SOLAR PANELS are going to help us become an industrial nation once again?" This is a question that is being asked daily.

NOT MY ART OR PAINTING. I DID NOT DRAW OR PAINT THIS.http://www.flickr.com/photos/huffstutterrobertl/galleries/72157626715991747 This is the logo for Buster Brown Shoes. See the information below from Wikipedia. It is all about one of America's oldest and greatest shoe companies.

THERE IS A NEW GALLERY. YOU ARE INVITED TO VIEW THIS GALLERY OF THE OLD NEON BUSTER BROWN SIGNS.

THE BUSTER BROWN SHOES signs are a part of America that kept us walking the right way through many hard times. Much was learned by the Americans who wore these shoes, new or second-hand. They are a part of our American memory. For anyone who never had a pair, my deepest regrets, but your children will surely have a pair.

Thanks to the Brown Shoe Company whose industry provided thousands of jobs for Americans.

This gallery commemorates Buster Brown and his dog Tige who will forevermore wear the collar with the number 5.

Wanted to post something so went through some images from a recent visit. Decided to do a little black and white with some additional tweaks. This location is slowly being renovated, no work has been done in it for quite a while. It still retains that abandoned flavor despite having been cleared of most of the debris.

Manufacturing companies from diverse industries such as the aerospace, appliances, automotive assembly, autoparts, business process outsourcing, electric and electronics, food, heavy industry, machining, medical devices and equipment, metal finishing, metal mechanical, metal stamping, multimedia design, petrochemical and plastics, plastic injection molding, pharmaceutical, software design, textile, among many other industrial clusters.

In town for the Barbie Convention (with the Mrs.). I went out on July 29th on the St Johns River Taxi and took some great pictures of downtown Jacksonville from the south side of the St. Johns River near the Friendship Fountain. Taken on Friday July 29, 2016. Here are pictures of the awesome neon sign for Maxwell House coffee at one of two plants that roast this coffee for Kraft Heinz (their parent company). The other locations is in San Leandro, California (in the Bay area). Good to the last drop.

Now just a neglected symbol of its youth and a relic of American industry. Read More

I meandered into the Pandora Mill in a demolition area of the reconstruction with a couple of photo-friends this past Saturday. The giant sign has disappeared and I am wondering if it will be returned after all is said and done.

"What's up with Frank--he's pretty freaked out?" There was a silence in the bar like no silence since the last miner disaster. Finally, Bill answered the question: "He's worked at the coal mines for nearly 40 years and the EPA is closing them down."

This is only one of the hundreds of similar scenarios that will take place because Congress has no concern for the industry of the United States. While they snoozed, a group performed some subterreanean moves and cranked up the Environmental Protection Agency into a bureaucratic monster with more power than they should ever have been permitted to have.

That a non-constitutional branch of the government has been covertly created and enhanced with power unauthorized by national concensus is yet another example of how socialism can creep into a democracy where representatives are sleeping and like a mold, contaminate an entire form of government. Oh, it is not too late to dismantle a bureau that was assembled through lobbying and political coalitions. If Congress, even with a majority of those who support an ugly bureau such as EPA, had the desire, EPA could be deactivated and put in its proper perspective, that of an advisory information bureau, not a force that has power to destroy American industry and create financial disaster throughout all of America's power industries.
