Kuch Rishtey Anjaane Mein Ban Jaate Hain
Pehle Dil Se Phir Zindagi Se Jud Jaate Hain
Kehte Hain Uss Daur Ko Dosti
Jismein Anjaane Na Jaane Kab Apne Ban Jaate Hain

apne dost ko kya uphar du,
koi achcha sa phool hota to mali se mangvata,
jo khud gulab hai usko kya gulab du.

Labo se chu kar ik jaam dete jana,
Hathon se apne ik paigam dete jana,
Meri mohabbat ko thukraya jo tune,
To ise dosti ka nam dete jana.

Tere lab pa khilenge muskaan bankar,
Kabhi hamein apne se juda na samajhna,
Hum tere saath challenge aasmaan bankar.

दुनियाँ के गमों को भी जानते है हम;

Nazar aur kuch nahi dost ka deedar mangti hai,
Zindagi apne liye kuch nahi par aapke liye,
Dua hazaar mangti hai…

Pyar Ki Masti Kisi Dukan Mein Nahi Bikti
Acche Doston Ki Dosti Har Waqt Nahi Milti
Rakhna Dosti Ki Ahmiyat Dil Mein Sajakar
Kyunki Yaaron Ki Yaari Kabhi Gairo Se Nahi Milti.

Ke khud se pahle apke liye dua karu.

Dosti dard nahi khushiyo ki sogat hai
Kisi apne ka jindgi bhar ka sath hai
Ye to dilo ka wo khubsurat ahsas hai
Jiske dam se rosan ye sari kaynaat hai

Dosti mein duriyaan toh aati jaati rehti hain,
Fir bhi dosti dilon ko milati rehti hain,
Woh dost hi kya jo naaraz na ho,

Dosti ki judaai ka gham mat karna,

Dosti aur Pyaar nadi pe gumne gye…
Pyaar nadi me gir gya Q?
Qki pyaar andha hota hai
Uske piche dosti bhi gir gai Q?

Tere dosti me ek nasha hai,
Tabhi to yeh saari duniya hamse khafa hai,
Naa karo hamse itni dosti,
Ki dil hi hamse puchhe teri dhadkan kahan hai.

Dosti to sirf ittifaq hai,
Yeh to dillon ki mulaqat hai..
Dosti nahi dekhti ye din hai ki raat hai,
Isme to sirf wafadari or jazbaat hai..!

Dosti Ki Mahek Ishq Se Kam Nahi Hoti,

Aankhon Mein Basne Wale Pyara Sa Ishara Ho

Pyaar aur dosti mein itna fark paya hai.
Pyaar ne sahaara diya aur dost ne nibhaaya hai.
Kis rishte ko gehara kahu?
Ek ne zindagi di aur dusre ne jeena sikhaaya hai.

Kehte hain dost banana zindagi hai
Dosti nibhana zindagi hai

Dil ke fasle do baton se hote hai,
→→→→→→→→→→→→→→→→→→→→→→→→
Waqt bahut kam hai sath bitane ke liye,
Isko na ganwana kabhi roothne manane ke liye,
Dosti to hamne kar li aap se,
Bas thoda sa sath dena is ko nibhane ke liye.
→→→→→→→→→→→→→→→→→→→→→→→→
Jaam pe jaam pine se kya fayada,
Shaam ko pee subaha phir utar jayegi,
Peena hai to do bund dosti ke pee,
Sari zindagi teri nashe mein guzar jayegi.

Dost ka pyar dua se kam nahi hota,
Woh chahe door ho phir bhi koi gham nahi hota,
Aksar pyar mein dosti kam ho jati hain,
Magar dosti mein pyar kabhi kam nahi hota.

Kitne azeez ho tum ye batayein kaise,
Hamari sachchai aap ko dikhayein kaise,

Nikle hum duniya ki bhid mein to pata chala,
Har wo shakhs tanha hai jisne pyar kiya.
Hum Ne Liya Sirf Honton Se Jo Naam Tumhara,
Dil Honton Se Ulajh Para K Yeh Sirf Mera Hai.
Na jane kyu yeh raat udaas kar deti hai har roz,
Mehsos yu hota hai jaise bichad raha ho koi Dheere Dheere.
Kaisa ajeeb rishta hai dil ka,
Dil aaj bhi dhoke mein hai or dhokebaaz aaj bhi dil mein.
Use kehna apni kismat pe naaz karna acha nahi hota,
Hum ne barish me bhi jalte huye ghar dekha hain.
Humse khelti rahi duniya taash ke patton ki tarah,
Jisne jeeta usne bhi phenka Jisne haara usne bhi phenka.
Karo Bade Shoq Se Mohabbat Ae Chahane Walo,
Magar Soch Lena Kisi Kaam K Na Raho Ge Bicharne K Baad.
Mujhe Khud Par Itna To Yaqeen Hai,
Koi Mujhe Chor To Sakta Hai Magar Bhula Nahi Sakta.
Jab wo khushbu ke qabil hua to auro k liye mehkne laga.

THIS LANDMARK COMIX SET is rare. It comes out of my personal collection – from a Smoke-free environment.
I have been collecting since the mid-sixties. I have amassed a primo collection of mostly 1st and 2nd editions of all the rare and essential comix. Rather than selling my entire collection to one buyer, I decided to sell it off piecemeal.
CONDITION: NM at least (see pics).
INT. PGS.: OWL 10 Supple without brittleness.
Comic complete with no coupon cut outs or pages missing.
Arcade: The Comics Revue was a magazine-sized comics anthology created and edited by Art Spiegelman and Bill Griffith. It was published by Berkeley's Print Mint and ran for seven issues between 1975 to 1976. Color covers by Robert Crumb, Jay Lynch and Robert Williams.
Arcade, The Comics Revue was truly an ambitious undertaking, launched in 1975 out of Berkeley, California by co-editors Art Spiegelman and Bill Griffith. It was conceived as a "comics magazine for adults" that would showcase the "best of the old and the best of the new comics."
The Arcade comic anthology series is considered by some to be the last stand in the era of underground comics. It is also considered by some to be the most ambitious and accomplished comic book series in the history of comic books.
Arcade was indeed a courageous attempt to bring intellectual comics to the masses, and my admiration for the effort is shared by many other comic experts and historians. Alan Moore said it was "the only truly worthwhile material produced during the 1970s." The first issue of Arcade, with its stunning Crumb cover, is beautiful to look at and lavishly illustrated throughout.
Arcade did deliver plenty of terrific stories and showcased the work of the most important creators from underground's golden age, including Crumb, Griffith, Spiegelman, Wilson, Rodriguez, Williams, Deitch, Green and Kominsky. It is justly lauded for refusing to pander to the lowest common denominator, even if that refusal helped lead to its going out of business. It was truly a shame that it did. Because every issue of Arcade remains an interesting read and challenges the reader to engage with its weighty content. In fact, I believe that the last couple issues of Arcade struck a fine balance between entertainment and education, and who knows what might have been if the series had continued.
THIS LANDMARK COMIX SET is rare. It comes out of my personal collection – from a Smoke-free environment.
Arcade, The Comics Revue #1
Only Printing / Spring, 1975 / 44 Pages / The Print Mint. Crumb cover.
The first issue leads off with a Top Twenty Underground Covers award-winning front cover by Robert Crumb and is followed by contributions from an all-star cast of underground creator legends, including Jim Osborne, Robert Armstrong, Spain Rodriguez, S. Clay Wilson, Kim Deitch, Justin Green, Jay Kinney, Aline Kominsky, Jay Lynch, Victor Moscoso, Willy Murphy, Diane Noomin and Gilbert Shelton.
The care and deliberation that Spiegelman and Griffith employed when assembling this beautiful magazine is awesome. Enjoy the majority of stories here, especially Lynch's "Nard n' Pat" story, Willy Murphy's "Arnold Peck, the Human Wreck" and Art Spiegelman's "Real Dream."
HISTORICAL FOOTNOTES:
The Print Mint produced approximately 20,000 copies of this comic magazine. It has not been reprinted.
No noticeable blemishes or marks. Near-Mint condition.

========================================
Arcade, The Comics Revue #2
Only Printing / Summer, 1975 / 44 Pages / The Print Mint. Crumb cover.
Arcade, The Comics Revue #2 continues the ambitious objectives of the editors and contributors. The magazines starts off strong with R. Crumb's "Modern America," includes biopic of Henri Rousseau, "A Couch in the Sun," "Classics Crucified" gives us Goethe's "Faust," on four pages.
The cover art by Crumb is another outstanding effort, though.
HISTORICAL FOOTNOTES:
The Print Mint produced approximately 30,000 copies of this comic magazine. It has not been reprinted.
No noticeable blemishes or marks. Near-Mint condition.
NM
=============================================
Arcade, The Comics Revue #3
Only Printing / Fall, 1975 / 52 Pages / The Print Mint. Crumb cover.
Arcade expands from 44 to 52 pages for third issue, which gives more room for even more contributiors. Arcade #3 leads off with Robert Crumb paying homage to jug bands and depression-era blues, a great example of Crumb utilizing his talents on his passions. "Classics Crucified" (Justin Green) takes on "Crime and Punishment," which about as exciting as George Kuchar's biography, "H.P. Lovecraft."
On the plus side, Robert Armstrong's "Mickey Rat" is pretty good and Willy Murphy keeps lightening the mood with his usually funny "Arnold Peck the Human Wreck." Charles Bukowski also contributes some fine short fiction with "Bop Bop Against That Curtain" (with spot illustrations by R. Crumb).
HISTORICAL FOOTNOTES:
The Print Mint produced approximately 20,000 copies of this comic magazine. It has not been reprinted.
No noticeable blemishes or marks. Near-Mint condition.
NM
=============================================
Arcade, The Comics Revue #4
Only Printing / Winter, 1975 / 52 Pages / The Print Mint. Crumb cover.
The series continues to challenge its audience in Arcade #4, including a fine contribution from William S. Burroughs ("Fun City in Ba'dan"). Another plus is Robert Williams, who provides a gracefully violent center spread in "An Ugly Incident."
HISTORICAL FOOTNOTES:
The Print Mint produced approximately 20,000 copies of this comic magazine. It has not been reprinted. This "winter" issue was actually published in October.
No noticeable blemishes or marks. Near-Mint condition.
NM
============================================
Arcade, The Comics Revue #5
Only Printing / Spring, 1976 / 52 Pages / The Print Mint. Jay Lynch cover.
"The Calvin Coolidge Story," "Gotterdammerung" (a serious story about Adolf Hitler and the Nazis), A religious fable with Zippy in the 16th century – Oh, boy, what fun! At least S. Clay Wilson livens up the book with his contribution, and R. Crumb's "Crybaby's Blues" is pretty funny. Also, Jay Lynch's "Famous Frauds" story this time ("Ajeeb") and George DiCaprio's excerpt from the epic novella "Anthony and the Temptations."
HISTORICAL FOOTNOTES:
The Print Mint produced approximately 20,000 copies of this comic magazine. It has not been reprinted.

for this young boy who serves tea to offices and the studio where i shoot ...
aaj jab shooting kar raha tha .. chaay aai .. chaay lekar ye nanha bacha chhay ko tray mein lekar aaya .. garam garam chaay aur is tray ko pakadne se is bache ke haathon mein chaale aa gaye the .. dara dara sa woh studio mein aaya .. dekhkar afsos ke saath dil mein raham aaya .. bada ajeeb sa lagta ki kam se kam bachon mein to sahuliyaton mein bhed bhaav nahi hona chahiye ..
hum sab kuch karna chahte hai in bachon ke liye .. magar ye soch wakti taur par hoti hai .. wakt beet jaata hai .. hum apne apne kaamo mein lag jaate hai .... aur masla wahin ka wahin rahta hai
kaash koi in choto bachon ko is tarah ke kaam karne par rok lagaye .. kaash ye saare bache ache se rahe .. padhe aur hamare mulk ka naam roshan karen .. ameen ..
==============================
this shot was not planned .. the back lighting was done for a specific theme i was shooting for .. it was a spur of the moment decision to ask him to pose for and he was so happy .. tht smile is natural .. he is happy in whtever work he is doing ... this is just my small way of spreading awareness among all of us ....

Aankh khul gaye meri
ho gaya main phir zindaa
Pait k andhairon se
zehan k dhundalkon tak
Aik saanmp k jaisa
Reengta khayal aya
Aaj teesra din hai...Aaj teesra din hai
Ik ajeeb khamoshi
Munjamid hai kamray main
Aik farsh aur ik chat
aur chaar deewarain
Mujh say be ta'aluq sub
sub meray tamashayee
samnay ki khirki say
tez dhoop ki kirnain
aa rahe hain bistar per
chubh rahe hain chahray main
is qadar naukeeli hain
jaisay rishtay daron k
TANZ meri ghurbat per
Aankh khul gayee meri
aaj khokhla hoon main
Sirf khaul baqi hai
Aaj meray bistar main
laita hai mera dhancha
Apni murda aankhon se
daikhta hai kamray ko
Aaj teesra din hai...Aaj teesra din hai
Dopehar ki garmi main
be irada qadamon say
Ik sarak per chalta hoon
Tang si sarak per hain
dono samt dukanain
Khali khali ankhon say
har dukaan ka takhta
sirf daikh sakta hoon
Ab parha nahin jata
Log atay jatay hain
pas say guzartay hain
Phir bhi kitnay dhundlay hain
Sub hain jaisay be chahra
Shor in dukaanon ka
Raah chalti ik gaali
Radio ki awazain
Dur ki sadayen hain
Aa rahe hain meelon say
Jo bhi sun raha hoon main
Jo bhi daikhta hoon main
Khawab jaisa lagta hai
Hai bhi aur nahin bhi hai
Dopehar ki garmi main
Be irada qadamon say
Ik sarak pay chalta hoon
Samnay k nukar per
Nal dikhaye daita hai
Sakht kyun hai yeh paani?
Kyun galay main phansta hai?
Meray pait main jaisay
Ghonsa aik lagta hai
Aa raha hai chakar sa
Jism per paseena hai
Ab sakat nahin baaqi
Aaj teesra din hai....Aaj teesra din hai
Har taraf andhaira hai
Ghaat per akaila hoon
Seerhiyan hain pathar ki
seerhyon per laita hoon
Ab main uth nahin sakta
Asmaan ko takta hoon
Aasmaan ki thaali main
Chaand aik roti hai
Jhuk rahe hain ab palkain
doobta hai yeh manzar
hai zameen gardish main
Meray ghar main choolha tha
Roz khana pakta tha
Rotiyaan sunehri hain
Garm garm yeh khana
Khul nahin rahe ankhain
Kya main marnay wala hoon?
Maa ajeeb thi meri
Roz apnay hathon say
mujhko woh khilati the
Kaun sard hathon say
Choo raha hai chahray ko
IK NIWALA HATHI KA
IK NIWALA GHORAY KA
IK NIWALA BHALOO KA
Maut hai k behoshi
Jo bhi hai ghaneemat hai
Aaj teesra din tha....Aaj teesra din tha

Ahh, the life stories. Made of threads with a weird knit ... complex weaving.
All's well and then the sudden chaos hits you ... with seemingly no way out.
My Allah is Rahman. Have faith on Him. Then just wait and see how He blesses you with abundant bounties.
Its a momentary thing ... I know but the scare factor is freaking me out. The leaving factor. Many Many prayers needed ... all goes well, through the best path laid by Him.
May the confusion be straightened out soon. Inshah Allah. remember me specially when you Pray this Ramadhan :)
Southern Railway Bulleid Pacific 34092 City of Wells in the ex-Midland Railway/LMS Bradford Forster Square station prior to pulling a special to Keighley. It was run for the inauguration of Cllr Mohammed Ajeeb's as Bradford City Mayor.
The expanse of the goods yard can be seen in the distance with a very long footbridge crossing the entire site. Both bridge a yard have been swept away & the station, very much reduced in size, physically moved further down the line to make room for modern offices & retail parks.

=============================================

=============================================

============================================

Late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan
This is one of the Qawwali that have seen me lose consciousness
Fall on the floor, at Ajmer , in the presence of Peersaab Fakhru Miya Hujra No 6 .
At Carter Road while hearing this on my walkman, I just went into a trance and swoon, I don’t take drugs, but than the name of Hazrat Ali is a drug that cures all diseases of the mind and soul.
I have one wish call it another heresy of my thoughts but to do the dance of the whirling dervish to the chant of Ya Ali…
I don’t want to got to Turkey where this dance has been commercialized for tourist attraction…

This is a very auspicious moment of preparing the sandal paste , this will be covered in white muslin, the bowls all duly packed in silver foil.
All this will finally be placed in the flower bedecked palki to be offered on the Tomb of the Holy Saint Baba Makhdoom Shah al Mahimi..
It is while placing it in the palki that Sakibs brother went into a trance weeping..these are very private moments I shot to share the world of Sufi ritualism as practiced in India.
Along side this the dhamal players went about praising Hazrat Ali ...
