two lights, LEFT side Vivitar 285HV in softbox and vivitar 285HV w/omnidome light for background. aaron jones turbofilter used. each flash was fired with a pocketwizard on different channels. a turbofilter is a spinning contraption that sits in front of the lens. its big and needs to be mounted on a C-stand. there are three filters (clear, medium diffusion and strong diffusion) that spin with a hole that u shoot thru. there is 3 channels that the flashes are fired that each synched to each filter. most times people choose the background light to be synched w/diffusion. aaron jones was a lighting genius that invented many kickass lighting tools/modifiers. i wonder where he is now ? another is Gary Regester. another lighting genius/inventor/designer who created the Plume Wafer light banks that are the best in the industry.
