FYI - the bottom right corner blue is actually part of the building which almost matches sky colour ( not editing other then small crop to make 5 rather the 6) the yellow is IKEA lettering.
FYI... NOT down and I am more than OK.. it is just a nice song for a rainy Monday!!
🎼: Rainy Days & Mondays ~ Carpenters~
✈️ : The Horizon
Talkin' to myself and feelin' old
Sometimes I'd like to quit
Nothin' ever seems to fit
Hangin' around
Nothin' to do but frown
Rainy days and Mondays always get me down
What I've got they used to call the blues
Nothin' is really wrong
Feelin' like I don't belong
Walkin' around
Some kind of lonely clown
Rainy days and Mondays always get me down
Funny, but it seems I always wind up here with you
Nice to know somebody loves me
Funny, but it seems that it's the only thing to do
Run and find the one who loves me (the one who loves me)
What I feel has come and gone before
No need to talk it out (talk it out)
We know what it's all about
Hangin' around (hangin' around)
Nothin' to do but frown
Rainy days and Mondays always get me down

FYI: I passed by here every single day for last 7 years.. My office is right across the street(Rockefeller Center) and I never went in before.. What a shame right??
Today was the Friday the 13th, so I say to my self, I better go in with my camera.
There's a securiy check point, so dont carry any time clock inside your bag, ok??
FYI. I'll tell you a secret hidden in this image, my Friend. Part of the attraction is created by the cloud shadow cutting the image across the horizon and causing the barns to be highlighted! I doubt that most viewers consciously noticed the connection... Did you?
FYI: I was just told this from a wildlife group...
leaving out globs of peanut butter risks them choking. spread it real nice and thin or stick with raw whole peanuts. rodents can't vomit so certain foods are more dangerous than others (also why poisons work so well on them).
From now on I will definitely spread it thin...
FYI: This is a Linden Victorian home 😁

The many moods of Victoria. Victoria is the daughter of my daughter-in-law's brother - but she calls me Poppy and that works just fine for me. :)

(FYI - those white spots on the buttercup aren't over-exposure but rather damage from the monsoon-like torrential downpours we endured this past Sunday. Rain came down so hard, the sheer velocity beat up the buttercups and clean knocked their colour off. Thankfully this one happened to be the least damaged among them.)
FYI - I didn't hurt any daisies in the making of this photo, but my Canon 40D did take a turn for the worst. A big ass crack shows up in all my shots, don't know what happened because I never dropped it. I cloned it out the best I could. All I know is the dreaded "error" popped up twice before I looked at my screen and went WTF! Anyway, going to get the camera guy to look at it to see if it can be saved. (It is a shame for I just had it cleaned from all the dust) If not, I will have to look into getting another camera. Anyone have any suggestions on new cameras?
FYI: When I shoot puddle reflections like this, I am usually holding my cell phone about an inch or less above the puddle. Most people have no idea what I'm doing but for this series of shots, a man came up to me and said, "Good eye! I'm a photographer. I love reflections!"
FYI the restaurant in the upper right corner was used as the front for Seinfeld's TV show exterior diner shots.
Hello my amazing Flickr friends !!
Today is an orange day at Color my World Daily and the theme at Crazy Tuesday is « guess what it is ? ». So that is it ! If you want to participate, just put your answer in the comments… the final answer will be revealed tomorrow, in 24 hours, on a yellow day during a huge reveal celebration with lots of champagne and finger foods (just kidding) ! I’m telling you people: the suspense will be unbearable during the next 24 hours !! Some might even lose their sleep (I hope not !) over this !! Especially if you don’t know what it is ;-) ! And just to be clear: I’m not talking about my horrible finger in the picture… That we know what it is ! We are talking about « the other » thing. Also, there is nothing to win, except the admiration of few members of the Flickr community and myself. FYI, I know what the thing in my picture is because my husband told me. But honestly I had no idea what it was… but maybe I’m the only one not knowing and you will all find out at first glance… And apparently if you are older than 30, you might know what it is…Well, we will see in the comments :-). Let’s play !
Mucho, mucho amor for you my friends !! Have a beautiful day !!!
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!! And see you soon on Flickr !
FYI, if you are looking for otters around a sea shore then keep an eye out for rocks with a green covering among those hosting the usual seaweed These appear to be places where otters frequent and deposit scent markings/spraints as can be seen by this one. Presumably they are boundary markers for their territory.
Thanks to all who have visited, commented or faved my photos. (It would be nice if you left a comment too) It is very much appreciated. Constructive criticism welcomed.
(fyi, this was not "photoshopped". Batman just wouldn't go away. I would lift his paws, make a few keystrokes, and drop them back on the keyboard. I had time to upload the photo that is on the screen and was in the process of cropping it when I thought of taking this.)

Out front on the majestic Cabbage Palm Florida native palm tree. Staring at the bird feeders. Trying to figure out how to get from here to there!
FYI: Sabal palmetto, also known as cabbage palm, cabbage palmetto, sabal palm, blue palmetto, Carolina palmetto, common palmetto, Garfield's tree, and swamp cabbage, is one of 15 species of palmetto palm. It is native to the Southern United States and the West Indies.
When I remodeled my front yard with Florida natives a few years ago, I just had to have one of these beauties. Cost a fortune but it's a beautiful tree, now so tall and happy.
fyi!!! I am still here!!! simply camera less!!! guess this is a sign it's time to replace my trusty first digital for the next generation!!!

FYI, I decided to embark upon a 30 day challenge to include LYD in as many pictures and settings as I can in 30 days.
…. Btb, methinks she needs a name-…. How about Lydia?
I never thought I'd live to see the day that the work of the iconic graffiti artist, Vandal, would be destroyed! But the giraffe is gone, replaced by a mouth full of teeth that need repair! The loss to the world of graffiti art cannot be measured! sigh.... sigh..... sigh....
FYI, the first pic isn't mine. I just needed a reference pic. I darkened the belt and painted the straps and pistols black

I have no idea what this is! I discovered him on a flower on my deck and he posed for me very patiently!!!!
FYI- I have lost 1 dog, 2 cats, and some chickens to coyotes over the last 20 years. My wife has made me get out of bed on many nights and go outside and tell the coyotes to shut it up with the late night yapping!!!!!!!! So why do I take so many photos of this coyote at the marina? I'm not sure why! Nature!!!!!

FYI to see what I've been doing. picture 1: looking out on the vast expanse of weeds. with a few flowers scattered in.
picture 2: looking at what I've done. and it took me 4 or 5 days to do it. I will get the pots put back and the area tidied up.

Sunday while my grandson was weed whacking, his girlfriend natalie was helping me weed. she watered all my dahlia pots for me and then weeded in front of them. now I can see what's in each pot.
