I had a rake through my wife's jewelry box to find a small but interesting piece for the theme.
I lit this with a ring light from RHS with silver reflector underneath and a gold reflector on the LHS.
The Canada warbler is a small boreal songbird. They are stunning little warblers, bold yellow and black with a distinct white eye ring.
The most noticeable feature is the broken black necklace across the chest on adult males. Females also have a necklace, but it's not as bold.
I had one sighting of a male three years ago during their Spring migration journey to South America via the Atlantic flyway, a sighting I’ll never forget!

Made of Lumina, a few vintage beads, seed beads, freshwater pearls, and sewn to a felt base. This one was made differently than my past necklaces. The felt base gives it a little more durability and allows for attaching beads. It took several days to sculpt and assemble.

I made this for my wife using the lost wax method over 50 years ago. It was my first and last attempt at making silver jewelry. She still wears it frequently.
It is about 1.5" (38mm) long from the loop to the tip.
