you wanted the best....you got the best, the hottest band in the world KISSSSSSSSS!

Left to right.....Bruce Kulick, the late, great Eric Carr, Gene Simmons & Paul Stanley.

Took this shot at Madison Square Garden on December 16, 1985. Had second row seats and had to stand on my seat the whole show. When the lights went out people came from everywhere and rushed the stage.

Sometimes I come across things in photos that I didn't even know were there. Like this. A band called 'Blackjack' that I saw open for Peter Frampton in the late 70's. Turns out the singer was Michael Bolton, the guitar player was Bruce Kulick who later went on to be in Kiss and the keyboard player was Alan St. Jon, who later ended up with Billy Squier. When I recently realized who they were it kinda gave me a laugh. I don't remember anything about how the band was live.

Michael: Yeah, well at least your name isn't Michael Bolton.

Samir: You know, there's nothing wrong with that name.

Michael: There was nothing wrong with it... until I was about 12 years old and that no-talent ass-clown became famous and started winning Grammys.
