I put some blue marbles on a pink micro towel and then used Photoscape to post process this image.
I used the 3D filter to create this shape.
The client provided me a picture of a two 21st birthday cake created by "Inspired by Michelle Cake Designs"
The brief was to make it one tier. I changed the colours and the design slightly to give it a G3 twist.
This is one of my favourite photos of my Dad taken on his 21st Birthday in the late 1950's. Today would have been his 80th Birthday but he sadly passed away just over two years ago.
Happy Birthday Dad.

I made my own cake for my 21st birthday! I wanted to do it! It's an oreo cake! A cookies and cream filling sandwiched between two triple chocolate layers, a chocolate ganache on top!

Cervia is a major seaside resort in Emilia-Romagna, North Italy. Its population was 28,983 at the 2023 census. The town it is mainly a destination for seaside tourism, with a coastline of 9 km of equipped beach.

Sister's 21st birthday cake.
Two tier - bottom is a choclate and marble vanilla cake soaked with vanilla syrup and layered with chocolate ganache buttercream and vanilla buttercream.
Top tier is a lemon sponge soaked with lemon syrup and layered with lemon buttercream and raspberry jam.
Both marzipanned and iced.

Birthday girl wanted a castle cake as she is having a strictly costume only party... She is going to dress up as cinderella, hence the figurine, cinderella outfit but with brown hair :)
The amazing zoo interns painted a treat box (with sweet potato inside) of an equally amazing Queen Mei Xiang with her "legal" glass of wine
Presenting . . . Mama Mei's amazing birthday ice cake! Decorations included bananas, pears apples, and biscuits; topper was made with beet juice.

My Son's 21st Birthday 'feast' was a Domino's Pizza! He had planned big events with his friends -- now all cancelled -- but he is enjoying it with Sister, Mum and Dad safely indoors at 2 meters away from everyone!

'Enchanted Castle' Cake, made for a Disney Enchanted Forest themed 21st birthday party.
The young lady who this cake was for wanted a castle cake with a difference, where the turrets appeared to be coming out from a garden of flowers, predominantly in pinks and purples. There were roses, Cymbidium Orchids, Lilies, Hydrangeas, plus lots of buds, filler flowers and leaves!
There was also a smaller cutting cake that accompanied this cake, and was home to the 21 candles.
This cake has been weeks in the making. All up (and yes, I counted) there were approximately 170 handmade flowers/buds/leaves that went onto this cake! So so so much work. It was quite difficult for me to visualise how this cake would actually look, but I must admit I am thrilled with how it turned out! Although I really enjoyed making it, I was glad to send it on its way, as flowers have taken over many rooms of my house in recent weeks, and with young kids around, that's a nervous few weeks!
The function room looked very pretty, with tortured willow lining the perimeter, fairylights strung in all the willow, and coloured tealights everywhere. The birthday girl is studying Interior Design. It was a dress-up party and she had the most EXQUISITE Tinkerbell costume that she made herself. She looked like she had flown straight out of the movie - I must upload the pic I took!

4 yrs ago my beautiful neighbor Heather ordered a set of 6 cupcakes for her grand-daughter who was turning 18 then. And now, today she turns 21! wow!!! time surely flies. Early this week, I had the pleasure of meeting Sasha for the first time.....such a sweetie, a free spirit topped up with a gorgeous smile. She liked one of my previous designs of a cupcake and wanted the same in purple and ivory incorporating silver in it. We decided to keep the top cutting cake fairly simple to bring out the theme colors.
Happy Birthday dear Sasha......hope your birthday blossoms into lots of dreams come true!
