A U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor, F-16 Fighting Falcon and a Commemorative Air Force P-51 Mustang fly in formation Sep. 6, 2018, while flying over areas of Alabama. This dissimilar formation flight, honoring the Tuskegee Airmen past, present and future, included the 301st Fighter Squadron F-22 (piloted by Maj. Paul “Loco” Lopez), 100th Fighter Squadron F-16 (piloted by Maj. Rich “Sheriff” Peace) and Red Tail P-51 (piloted by CAF member and Tuskegee Airman descendant Brad Lang). The 100th Fighter Squadron was one of the Tuskegee Airmen squadrons during World War II, a famous all African-American squadron from the 332d Fighter Group, activated on Feb 19, 1942 at Tuskegee Army Air Field, Alabama. It was returned to duty in 2007 as a replacement of the Alabama Air National Guard’s 160th Fighter Squadron so the state could honor the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen. This rather naked F-16C is seen on the ramp after performing the fly-over the the Titans game earlier today. This aircraft belongs to the 187th Fighter Wing of the Alabama ANG based at Dannelly Field, Alabama. Very clean and nice looking fighter! As my friend "Henrik" pointed out in his post earlier on, this is a "Block-30K" as opposed to the others here that are "Block-30F's". My thanks to him for that information!!!
This Alabama ANG F-16 sits on the ramp in Grand Junction, CO without a tail code.

This very nice looking F-16C is pictured here parked to the side of a new hangar at KBNA. The F-16's that come from Alabama are always really nice looking and well taken care of. This, along with most of the F-16's on the ramp here are "Block-30F" versions of the Falcon. This particular aircraft flew 54 sorties during "Operation Desert Storm" in Iraq and Kuwait. It also served during "Operation Iraqi Freedom" recently.

This is another member of the Alabama ANG. Named after the city of Selma, Alabama, thus unarmed Falcon was here with others for the pre-game fly-over. Great looking fighter!!
You can't have the Alabama Air National Guard up here without having the "City of Birmingham" I suppose. This one is getting fueled up and will depart here shortly!
Alabama Governor Kay Ivey hosted a press conference at the 187th Fighter Wing to announce that Secretary of the Air Force Heather Wilson had selected Dannelly Field Air National Guard Base, Ala., as a preferred location for the F-35A aircraft Dec. 21, 2017, on base. Dannelly Field and Truax Field Air National Guard Base, Wis., were chosen as preferred alternatives until Wilson makes the final basing decisions after the requisite environmental analysis is complete.
