Urban frontiers

Holland is one of the most densely populated countries in the world and the cities are expanding all the time, to the detriment of the open countryside or the city's own green spaces. An other growth strategy is the conversion of the former industry or habour spaces.

This series is about this process of (sub-)urbanization, urban revitalization and my fascination with it.
