Previously unpublished shot from June 2016 where anti-immigration and white supremacist demonstrations and counter pro-immigration and anti-racism rallies were taking place in George Square, Glasgow.
I used the word 'Metropolis' as a play on the Glaswegian pronunciation, and sometimes spelling, of police as 'polis'. Pronounced 'POL-iss' or 'PO-liss'.
Law is a vintage figure I've always wanted but never got around to buying. He came out after I had stopped collecting Joes, but as soon as I heard of him I wanted one. God knows why it took them so long to add an MP to the Joe team!
This is the Sonic Fighters version from 1990, he's a nice paint variation over the original.

Actually, this guy was an actor on location with Law & Order: Criminal Intent. But when I saw that between takes he was wearing his hat backwards, I had to snap a few photos, you know?
This is a photograph of the Royal Courts of Justice, that i've been meaning to take for some time. The angle is an awkward one, though; and the traffic was horrendous. This was the quietest spell, while the traffic was a little easier. You can still see some light trails from the cars, but not too many. There is a little flare on the lens but I've decided to leave it in.
Technique: D800, 14-24mm lens, 14mm setting, Aperture F11, Exposure 20 seconds, tripod, cable release, mirror lock up, no filters, ISO 100, Light room 5.7 tweaking colour, contrast, WB, and hues. Sharpening at 50%.

The county seat is Sebring, whose city plan is said to have been modeled after the ancient Syrian city of Heliopolis. George Sebring, the developer, made his fortune in pottery. More famous than Sebring’s pots are the annual auto races which, for a weekend, swell Highlands County’s population to several times its normal size. The courthouse, designed in the Classical Revival style by Fred Bishop, dates from 1927.

The Old west lives again. At least they did today. While strolling the streets of Nevada City, California during the Victorian Christmas event I ran across this Old West type lawman. He was with 5-6 other lawmen from the Old West here to maintain Law & Order.
