Still life photography seems to be a demanding art right now. Your assignment is to capture a still life in your home using composition and light strategically. "The still life photographer makes pictures rather than takes them."

Restriction: 1. NO FOOD OR BEVERAGE. 2. Must be taken in your home, yard, garage, etc.

Dare: Create something that people would likely want to put on their own walls, even though it was taken in your home.

One of my favorite still life's by Kate Ferris (tamed shrew): www.flickr.com/photos/kate_ferris/5442143207/

Another by Scot Harig (p912s): www.flickr.com/photos/p912s/3247757213/

Some photos by AAW members--randomly.

Expiration
This assignment ends at 8pm UTC (aka GMT) on Monday 1, the first, of August, when you should have completed the assignment and submitted your photo(s).

In case you're wondering about the closing time, check on the time remaining calculator. This assignment will close at the same time as the weekly assignment.

Voting
Voting can take place once submissions have closed. All voting must be completed forty-eight hours (two days) after the close of the assignment. The time remaining calculator shows this time, as the close of tie-breaker voting for the weekly assignment.
• All members of the group may cast one vote.

• It is expected that those who have submitted photos will vote, and that vote must be for a submission other than their own.

• Votes must be in this assignment thread.
