Cuxhaven. Lightship "Elbe 1" alias "Feuerschiff Bürgermeister O'Swald II"

This fire ship was put into service in 1948 and protected the traffic on the outlet of the river Elbe for 40 years. It was accidentally rammed no less than 50 times! Now it is a museum item on display in the port of Cuxhaven.
