50/365 Science Olympiad

Hunter's Science Olympiad bridge, before and during failure. The object is the build a light weight bridge that can hold the most weight. The winner has the highest efficiency (supported weight/bridge weight) This one was made of balsa wood. The shape was cut out on a laser (helps to have a Dad with a laser machine). It did OK, but improvements are in the works. Next generation bridge will be made of basswood.

What will I do when my kids don't have science projects for me to help them with?
