NYC - Harlem: Former P.S. 157
The former P.S. 157, at 327 St. Nicholas Ave, served as an elementary school for more than 70 years, closing in 1975, and then gradually deteriorating amid failed attempts at redevelopment. In 1989, Elzee Construction rebuilt the Renaissance structure, that was originally built by C.B.J. Snyder, as a rental building, with 73 units.
