Phase II of the BioProcess Algae facility at Green Plains Renewable Energy (GPRE), Inc. on Friday, April 15, 2011 in Shenandoah, IA. Phase II is key component in the commercial scale photo bioreactors/harvesters. The operation is co-located within GPRE’s ethanol factory where BioProcess Algae technology is used to treat waste products; carbon dioxide, recycled heat and water to mass-produce algae.
