Phare du Raoulic

Le môle et le phare du Raoulic à Audierne dans le Finistère.

The Raoulic Lighthouse is located at the end of the "Môle du Raoulic" breakwater, on the west side of the entrance to the harbour of Audierne, in the Finistère department of Brittany, northwestern France.

The Raoulic Lighthouse was built in granite cut stone by the entrepreneur Baptiste Henry de Lorient and put into service on April 15, 1856. The 11 metres tall lighthouse, a round cylindrical masonry tower, up to that time with lantern and gallery was electrified on November 15, 1931. The lantern was replaced by a modern light on a short mast. The Lighthouse has a white or green sector depending on direction. Its white light signal can reach 14 nautical miles, and its green light signal can reach 9 nautical miles.
