Ronald Reagan (1911-2004) had quite a prolific career. He began in the 1930s as a successful film actor for Warner Bros., later became a television star, served as president of the Screen Actors Guild, became the governor of California (1967-1975), and lastly, served two terms as President of the United States (1981-1989).
American actress Patricia Neal (1928-2010) won both an Oscar and a Tony Award. In the first part of her film career, her most impressive roles were in The Fountainhead (1949), opposite Gary Cooper, and the Sci-Fi classic, The Day the Earth stood still<(1951). In 1953, she married writer, Roald Dahl and they would have five children in 30 years of marriage. After appearing in Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961), she won the Best Actress Oscar for her role in Hud (1963) opposite Paul Newman.
Richard Todd (1919–2009) was an Irish-born British stage and film actor and soldier. During the 1950s, he was one of Britain's biggest stars at the box office, and also achieved some success in Hollywood.
