Kaweah Gap
Taken with a Taken on a Canon A-1 and Kodak EB2 film.
I reached the pass above Hamilton Lake, and spent the night here. For a few moments I was enveloped in pink clouds. So pretty that I used two whole shots with the precious, precious film!
There were no trees anywhere, so the best thing I could think to do was suspend my food from a rope over a cliff. I set up some rocks so that if a bear tried to grab the rope, the rocks would fall as a sort of alarm. I slept rather poorly, constantly trying to listen through the howling for the sound of my food being stolen.
