Davidson River School Graduation 2019

Congratulations to the Class of 2019 at Davidson River School!

Celebrating many scholars and scholarship winners, presenters included Nick Bearden of Pisgah Forest Rotary, Dr. Ora Wells of Hendersonvile Pediatrics, Glenda McCarson of Blue Ridge Community College and VISION Transylvania, Leanna Hall, Career Coach at BRCC, and Dr. Brian Weaver on behalf of the Connestee Falls Student Scholarship Program.

A special moment was dedicated for both Principal Donna Wilde, and longtime student advocate David “Coach” Siniard, retiring this year.

Earl Hunter of SylvanSport gave the commencement address and heartily encouraged all the students, staff, and families, including an impromptu rendition of Sam Cooke's “Change Is Gonna Come!”
