I woke up May 31, 2012 with this blanket in my head. I tweeted about it, but must have mistyped and the iPhone auto-corrected "garter" to "hater" and thus the Hater Stitch Blanket was born.
This is my original sketch with what was at hand when I came downstairs and the blanket was still in my head.
