Leez Priory

Richard Rich the 1st Baron Rich of Leez built Leez Priory in about 1550 on the ruins of an Augustinian Priory dissolved by King Henry VIII.
In May 1995 Leez Priory became the first country house in England to be granted a licence to conduct civil wedding ceremonies.
