DIRECTOR'S NOTES
Charles Dickens created singular and vivid characters, especially in Oliver Twist. Lionel Bart has taken these characters and the over-crowded, chaotic London of 1836 and created a contemporary musical called Oliver! The SST asks you the musical question, "Where is Love?".
