Halloween Decor LARGE Home Accents Plastic 19 in LED Dragons Home Depot fantasy
Sometimes, the goods world just drops an amazing, unexpected, and totally out of place thing in your lap, briefly, and to be whisked away the next year (or two).
In 2018, a China based home goods company Home Accents dropped these INCREDIBLE 19" plastic dragon statues with light up eyes, into the Halloween department of Home Depot, for head scratchiness. The next year they did the same, but the base colors weren't black, so they weren't as deeply pretty. Also, of course, the life-sized smoking ones. Then POOF they were gone. They go for way to much on ebay now, partly because they're large to ship.
I hunted down two of the colors at the local Home Depot, but they didn't have the third in stock. So I ordered it online, then shipped to the store for pickup. I went up to the counter, the clerk said 'what are you picking up?' (expecting home building goods, like the norm). I said 'ummmm....dragon'. She confusedly went to get my box, then was like whaaat the?. Those are my favorite types of purchases. Confusing and unexpected. ^-^
