Toyota Corolla Hardtop Liftback (E70, Europe)
While the Toyota Corolla has traditionally been synonymous with reliability and durability, with the Corolla having been around for decades, many older generation Corollas are becoming extremely rare. Even where I live in Los Angeles, the E70 (4th Generation) used to be extremely common, but I have not seen one in years.
The climate in Greece, warm and dry and without significant snow in most parts, is conducive to keeping cars running forever - and here is a 4th Generation E70 Corolla from the early 1980s, in its hardtop liftback form. It's clearly seen better days, with missing rear bumper and cracked taillight, but it's still going.
The E70 is the last Corolla that featured standard rear wheel drive as well as optional pillarless hardtop design.
Parked in front of the Corolla is a 1990s Nissan Primera; many examples of Primera are still running around in Greece, even with faded paint and other signs of age. For longevity in Greece's dry climate, the best automotive makes seemed to be Toyota, Nissan, and to a lesser degree Hyundai.
