1983 RENAULT 20 TS 2 Litres Berline
In the early 1970s Renault had developed a new range of executive cars: the R20/R30. They were designed by Gaston Juchet.
In March 1975 the 6 cylinder R30 was launched, followed by the 4 cylinder R20 eight months later.
The Renault 20/30 was replaced by the R25 in 1983.
This Renault 20 was one of the about hundred 1970s and 1980s cars which were part of a rather vague classic car collection of two brothers. I spoke with one of them but still I don't understand the purpose of their collection activities.
Now, Spring 2019, this unique collection has fallen into parts: lots of cars have been sold or scrapped...

Production R20 TS: 7/1977-10/1983.
Original first reg. number: July 1, 1983.
New Dutch reg. number: July 10, 2009 (still valid).
Sold in June 2015.
