This month Pier 1 announced the closure of about half of their stores, and two from Hampton Roads were on the list: Newport News and Virginia Beach. I think this was my first visit ever to any of their locations, and I really dug the red tile floor. However, like most others have said their stuff is still very expensive, even at closing prices.
