2003 Bentley Azure (Mulliner)

Built as the convertible version of the hugely successful Bentley Continental R, the Azure was one of Bentley's most popular products, being constructed from 1995 to 2003 with the platform of the Continental R, but later being constructed from 2006 to 2009 with the platform of the Arnage.

The Azure was designed in part by Pininfarina and came at a price £36,000 higher than the regular Continental R. This particular car is one of the rare Mulliner versions, which were built from 1999 onwards with added special trip, additional equipment and allowed the buyer the option for further customisation during the build-process; pricing varied by car, as equipment could be significantly different from one to the next depending on customer requests.

The Azure also has the distinction of being the only car from which a Rolls Royce variant was derived, the Rolls Royce Corniche 2000 being built on the same platform as the Azure during its short production period.
